Ultherapy PRIME, Shurink Universe and Thermage FLX are not three versions of the same thing
Two of them are ultrasound and one is radiofrequency, they act at different depths, and the depth decides whether the machine can do what you were told it does.

A Korean clinic will often list all three machines on the same page, which makes them look like three brands of one product. They are not, and the difference is not marketing.
What each one reaches
Focused ultrasound deposits energy at fixed depths. Radiofrequency heats a volume of tissue rather than a point. That single distinction predicts most of what you will feel, what you will see, and how long it lasts.
- Energy
- Focused ultrasound
- Typical depths
- 1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.5mm
- Consumable
- Sealed transducer, shot count printed on the cartridge
- Anaesthetic
- Topical, sometimes a nerve block
Shot count is the unit these are sold in
It is also the number most easily reduced without anybody noticing. A cartridge has a finite number of shots and a printed count, which makes this one of the few things in the room you can personally verify.
Which one should I have first?
That depends on which layer is loose, which is a question that needs a face in front of a doctor rather than a web page.
