About the Magazine
A magazine about medical treatment in Korea: the devices used, the doctors who use them, and the clinics where it happens. Written for people deciding whether to fly here, and for people who already have.
What this publication is for
Most of what is published in English about Korean clinics is written by someone selling the procedure. That is not automatically dishonest, but it does mean whole categories of true and useful information never get written down: what a device cannot do, which patients a doctor turns away, how to tell a genuine consumable from a refilled one, what your rights are if something goes wrong.
That is the ground this magazine works.
How to read us
Every article carries the date it was published and the date it was last checked. Where an article makes a claim you could verify yourself, it tells you how, in a box marked How to check this yourself. Do the check. An article that asks for your trust instead of giving you a way to test it has failed.
We are published by an agency that earns money when patients are treated in Korea. Read How We Make Money before you read anything else.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will correct it and say that we did. Nothing is quietly edited.
