What is actually in the syringe: reading a Korean clinic’s injectables shelf

The brand names collapse into four families, and the family answers what the brand will not: how long it lasts, what it costs to be wrong, and whether it can be undone.

The publisher is a registered patient facilitator, paid by clinics when a reader becomes a patient through its agency. How we make money

In August 2026 a Seoul dermatology clinic supplied us its full list of devices and injectables, the same list reproduced on its clinic record here. The injectable half of that shelf is worth reading slowly, because the brand names a clinic quotes at you sort into a small number of families, and the family answers the questions the brand does not: how long it lasts, what it costs to be wrong, and whether it can be undone.

One shelf, four families
Botulinum toxin
Xeomin. Relaxes the muscle it is placed in; the effect wears off over months
Hyaluronic acid filler
Belotero, Neuramis. Adds volume; can be dissolved with hyaluronidase
Biostimulatory injectable
Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite), Juvelook (PDLLA). Provokes your own collagen; cannot be dissolved
Delivery device
Dermashine Pro, an injector that spreads many small doses across skin

Reversibility is the sorting question

A hyaluronic acid filler placed badly can be dissolved in a follow-up appointment. A biostimulatory product placed badly can only be waited out or, in the worst cases, treated as a complication. Neither is better in the abstract; the biostimulatory family exists because its results outlast the dissolvable kind. But the two families deserve entirely different amounts of caution from a patient who is far from home, and a consultation that does not volunteer the difference has skipped the most important sentence.

The vial is the part you can verify

You cannot verify technique from the chair. You can verify the product. Korean regulation is strict about what may be sold; it cannot see what happens in the room, and the distance between those two facts is exactly the width of a syringe filled from an unlabelled bottle. Every injectable on a legitimate shelf arrives in sealed, lot-numbered packaging with a Korean MFDS approval behind it, and a clinic with nothing to hide will open the box where you can see it.
